Just is the body needs food for fuel, mind needs some kind of food also. Just as there are good and not so good foods for the body; there are good and not so good for mind. Just people can survive on minimal amount of food. or perhaps food with little nutritional value. The mind can fucntionable it minimally with little fuel or perhaps poor quility fuel.
What we put into our bodies directly affect how we feel; our physical well being. What we put into our mind will also directly affect how we feel; our mental well being. So much emphasis is placed on our physical health and appearence for acceptance in today's society.
Since our mind controls our every move, thought and emotion; would it not be wise for us to feed and exercise it.
with the same care we do our bodies?? Consider this next time you read "people" magazine rather than a novel. Consider this next time you watch "american idol" instead of a well made movie. consider this next time you listen to Britney Spears instead of bach mozart or perhaps John Coltrane, or Miles Davis. FEED YOUR MIND AND FEED IT WELL, YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK.
